Description The Hanover Area School District will receive Bids via the PennBid Online Electronic Bid Procurement Program for the High School Chiller Replacement project, generally comprised of removing the existing chiller and installing an new, similarly sized, water-cooled chiller within the existing mechanical room, and all incidental work related thereto until 12:00 P.M. (local time) on the 21st day of May, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be privately opened and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 9:30 AM local time on Monday, May 14th at the Hanover Area High School, 1600 Sans Souci Pkwy, Hanover Township, PA 18706. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.

All bidding documents are available at no cost at www.ebidexchange.com/pennbid

All construction work is included in one (1) Prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis with alternate Bids and/or Bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond.

The Hanover Area School District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities in the Bidding.
Bids may be held by Owner for a period of not to exceed Sixty days (60) from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to the awarding of the Contract.
