The Madison County Purchasing Department procures equipment, materials, supplies and services for Madison County offices. Vendors that wish to bid on solicitations must return sealed bids to the Purchasing Department prior to 11:00 a.m. on the opening date. Bids are opened in the Madison County Commission board room. In cases where purchases will not exceed $15,000.00, a high level of competition is also maintained through our quotation process, which is more flexible and may be opened in the Purchasing Department. Minor purchases under $1,000.00 may be purchased by county departments upon approval from the Purchasing Department.
